The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival is a massive, wonderful festival held in June in Manchester, Tennessee. 80,000 people from all over the world come to see headliners such as Radiohead, U2, Childish Gambino, Phish, Metallica in addition to over 150 other performances over 4 days. A massive undertaking, Bonnaroo becomes the fourth largest city in Tennessee by population at the height of the festival.

My role with AC Entertainment involved the volunteer program of Bonnaroo. Over 2,000 volunteers participate in the program, either for enjoyment or to earn a weekend pass to the festival. The volunteers are deployed all across the festival site, before, during, and after the 4 days of music.

2017 Festival:
I was a part of the six-person team who handled the volunteer program. My duties included:
- Recruiting externs and volunteers at college speaking events
- Interviewing, hiring, and training externs
- Opening applications for previous volunteers and general public
- Communicating with prospective volunteers
- Reviewing applications
- Assigning and scheduling volunteers to various positions across the festival site, while also keeping their can't-miss artists into consideration
- Handling no-show volunteers and working out replacements
